Auditions for Carmen by Bizet
The performances of this fully staged production will take place at The Whitty Theatre, Luckley House School, Wokingham RG40 3EU, on 29 October - 2 November 2024, with dress rehearsals on 27 and 28 October. Rehearsals will begin in April 2024, and will take place on Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings, and some Sunday afternoons.
Auditions will take place on Sunday, 25 February 2024 from 2pm to 4.45pm at All Saints Hall, London Road, Ascot, SL5 8DQ. We do not allocate specific audition times, but simply invite you to arrive at a time that is convenient to you. If you have any queries please contact:

As the opera will be sung in English, we would stress that auditions must be sung in
English. The audition pieces listed below refer to the Cramer vocal score,
which we intend to use in the production, but any English translation is acceptable for the
audition. Please note that we are unable to pay fees.
